Every year, UCSA nominates undergraduate students to sit on UC systemwide committees that deal with critical policy matters ranging from admissions policy and financial aid to mental health, equity and diversity, and more. These are issues that affect every student in the UC system, and it is vital that our institution has dedicated, vocal champions on these decision-making bodies.
Systemwide committees vary in the frequency and location of their meetings. For in-person meetings, travel expenses for student representatives will be covered by the UC Office of the President.
Descriptions of all committees may be found here. The ones you see below are ones that have undergraduate vacancies for 2025-26. Applications are due August 16, 2025. (Applications for the GCLC/UCSSC specifically are due June 21, 2025.)
